Has to be public and verified. Has to be approved by Guinness, they don't recognize just any record. I personally had over 5,000 Wisconsin chips 20 years ago, but they were not unique.

I played in the largest mass orchestra a long time back. We filled the parking lot at a shopping center. For some reason after all that, news, people filled out individual forms to verify they where a participant... it got rejected.
The path isn't easy.
