Jerry isn't on Fakebook but dang this is cool!!

Ever seen this contraption, Jerry??? This was shared on an antique slot machine collectors group I follow on Facebook, and I thought I'd share it here. Happy Holidays from your pal in Central City!!

"Here's something I thought the group might enjoy. This Caille Aristocrat was shipped to an Operator in Asbury Park, New Jersey from the Caille factory in Detroit, and for unknown reasons was either run for a very short time or maybe not at all. It stayed in the Operator's family home for eighty plus years along with the shipping crate which still retains the original packing paper until last year when it was sold in an Estate Sale. Simply put, its a time capsule, with virtually no signs of wear or play at all. I love the original label shows it was shipped "Via Express COD: $200". With great help from my good friend Paul Manganaro tuning up the mech after decades of no use, it now runs like a Swiss watch playing and paying perfectly. I had this Depression Era welded iron and distressed wood custom stand built with a pull out drawer in the bottom which allows a full look at the crate and the label on it. Being a lifetime Bruce Springsteen fan having seen him and the E Street Band too many times to count, it's not lost on me that this Aristocrat was shipped to Asbury Park, where the Boss and the E Street Band began their musical journey. I am thrilled to be the current steward of this incredible time capsule."
