The "Champagne tower" is 1952 to 53. I believe constucted from 52 & completed in 53. Possibly the chips were in use while building it? Who knows? Positively not Bugsy era.

I met this guy who runs Sahara coins about 3 or 4 years or so ago when he took over the place.
I stopped in to see if he was handling chips. He was the most arrogant coin dealer I had ever met. I had someone take some chips in to see if he was a fair person regardless of his seeming to want to tell me he knew everything.

What he did was insult this person & flat out lie to them by saying their chips were fakes & worthless. Maybe he had never seen chips from People's Choice before. This was one of our westside Vegas clubs. 1980 to 82. Las Vegas is printed right on the inlay. There is no reason though if out of ignorance you do not have information about something, to be insulting.

I never went in there again & when people ask me if they should go there & check his chips out I tell them how I feel!

He bragged that he has Bugsy chips, from memory of mine, in denominations like $1, $2, $50 & up to $10,000! I am positive about the $2 & $10,000 as I said no way they did not have them! He disagreed. I left. Laughing all the way.

So whatever his ebay description is I would never believe it! I am happy to see in this case that you members are talking about this & I hope no one gets taken. I will now go see what color chip he has on ebay.

By the way the big reason I have extreme dislike for this Mark Scott, is he insulted my Mother!!!!!
