Definitely not a repo! Great find, I have only seen a few of these over the years. I have had mine for over fifty years and got it from my mother.

Well darn, I saw it and whoever bought all the Quaker oats and old spice tins, has it now. Maybe I should have shot the other side?

The lettering is pressed in, like a letter press, which made me wonder. That's why I took the photo. A fake would have probably been a cheap stencil. If that helps anyone next time they see one.

Sometimes these things just sit until the next auction. The tins were nothing that special and kind of rusty.
