I got curious so just dug out my info on the placemats...seller was from St. Louis, MO and the auction was in February of 2000. Don't remember exactly what they look like...seems like they have black and yellow (or blue & yellow) artwork on a white mat. Scalloped edges, I think.

I've begun to wonder about some of the ashtrays too....it's amazing how many 'trays there are, 10 to 40 years old, in pristine condition.
