It was just a restaurant, no casinos allowed in New York until just recently. I moved to Rockville Centre in 1983 and that location was called Palace of Wong and had a great neon CHOW MEIN sign atop. It closed a few years ago and was torn down to make way for a pediatric urgent care facility. I would have loved to keep the sign, but it was huge.
