then it has been in years, but its growth has diverged from the CCA's. I'd bet that sales of the chip rack have increased over the last few years because there are a ton of new casino chip collectors collecting but they are not CCA types, mostly not CCA types anyway and are not joining the CCA at the same rate as the growth of the hobby. These collectors are not interested in banquets or halls of fame or the etiquette between two people jocking for a BOD position.
I have accepted that the CCA is what it is and OG's like it the way it is. It will always be limited in what it can accomplish by the nature of its organizational structure. You can't have an all-volunteer... constantly rotating leadership do what the hobby needs at this point, so my point is... I sure hope at some point a differently structured organization can be founded with a similar mission as the CCA but have the ability to advance and guide the hobby into the future for all of our benefits.
