Well, here we are in another great debate about the SNCCC.

First of all the SNCCC is a stand-alone Club with a membership of 270 members with apx 3/4 of our membership being members of the CCA the rest being independents. In the past, The SNCCC has donated money to the MoGH and other organizations to further the hobby I don't promote any animosity towards the CCA as I am a Life member and Past President. Being involved in almost every facet of the CCA for 10 years I would never try to destroy it or condemn it. Anyone that thinks that should reevaluate their own agenda.

Second, after reading the posts concerning Walt Gonski it is apparent that no one really appreciates how much he has contributed to the SNCCC. His involvement with membership and the Fall Show has helped make the SNCCC what it is today. It was his suggestion to have a fall show and many more. Walt is a no-nonsense straight shooting person. When you talk to him you get straight answers to straight questions, No BS A lot of people can't handle that, and that is unfortunate. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge and anyone that ignores him is missing the point.

The ambush conducted at the last meeting was exactly that. 2 ex-board members know the procedure for submitting questions to the board in a proper manner. As past board members, they had presented ideas to the board and were rejected by the board when voted on. When items are presented by board members they are discussed and then voted on.
If the majority votes for the proposal then it's passed. I have been on the losing end of a few proposals but still, abide by the decision. That is the way it has always been and will continue. Discussions and votes are kept amongst the board members. It's a breach of protocol to discuss these issues outside the BoD. Ask any CCA and Mogh Board member if they have openly discussed their deliberations. James was a BoD member of the SNCCC a few years ago and resigned. He knows the protocol. Aso James being a BOD member of the MoGH would also know the proper protocol. Much like the CCA, each BOD member has one vote. This is not a monarchy.

Ex-Board members resigned because they could not abide by that rule. Also, those having their own personal agenda and trying in to force their agenda with no success frustrated them. So much so that they willfully discussed Club business with the membership trying to create controversy. One of them tried to circumvent the nomination process by contacting me to pressure me to not accept the nomination. When I refused he resigned and now has fueled the fires with his negative comments and actions.

James is naive if he thinks those ex-members are on his side. They say they want to make the SNCCC great. Having that ambush says a lot about how they are going to achieve success. Is this the type of meeting he will like to preside over?? I think not. He could have put a stop to all that but instead sat there and did nothing. The only conclusion I see is that he was part of that.

James does not bring any SNCCC experience to the table that can do more than I have done. His goals for the club while good make his inaction suspect. Why is he running for office when none of his ideas were ever presented until now? He could have been on a committee and would have been allowed to try out his ideas. This is further evidence that he is being manipulated by others. He has stated he is his own man but I don't believe it.

Outsiders can look at these posts and wonder what the hell is going on. Many do not know the inside story about all these people who really look to diminish the SNCCC. There is animosity, envy, and fear that the SNCCC may take over with the SNCCC being the Premier Club being second to none. Currently, the Northern Casino Collectible Club is being reactivated and I have become a member and have pledged my full support to make them a sister Club.

I have always been a team player in all my dealing with the SNCCC. I have been the most passionate and dedicated to accomplishing the many projects I have undertaken. If anyone whats to talk to our current Board Members they can contact them and they will tell you how I conduct our business.
