to collect what makes you happy!

It's doubtful that anyone else will ever enjoy this piece of our collection...even my husband thinks I'm nuts for keeping it . And it certainly has no cash value. But it makes me happy. It reminds me of a day when my husband and I drove out on the desert, near Sunrise Mountain. We found the old dump that was used in the 1950's, for a year or two. We found these two pieces, and a rusty old half of a license plate from 1951 or 1952...I don't remember which. Then some storm clouds started rolling in and we left, in case of rain and flash floods. We got turned around, finding our way out, but we got out just as the rain was starting.

Hopefully the person who collected those lighthouses got a lot of joy from them...maybe remembering vacations, visiting lighthouses.
