Ah, so it is just the usual idle speculation, great, what I expected as that is what you are best at.
No answer yet to the comment about the plastic £100,000 plaques and why it changed and just muddied the waters when first mentioned.
It wasn't easy to find out about the Gold Playboy plaque which is why it was not actually confirmed until David saw it and if it was Victor's then that would easily explain why most of the staff wouldn't have known about it, would they? I explained that too.
I have known about the Clermont one for years and have told you that many times but obviously you just don't listen properly.
As usual, you don't even understand the context of what I was referring to and just make comments on what you think when I said I didn't care.
As far as I am concerned this thread has been exhausted and there is nothing new to add but you just want to bang on and continue to state the obvious which is fine, it's what you like to do.
I give up as I'm obviously doing it the wrong way so...........
Yes, Tom was 100% right and we all thank you for making us aware of what he said because even though we have the book and realise that what you keep repeating is obvious and well known, we appreciate your taking the time to remind us of that. We are also ever so grateful that you help us to remember that you found the £10 plaque that nobody thought was possible constantly so we don’t forget. The more times you tell us, the better it gets and the more important and instrumental we realise you were in the story of the Playboy book and the information it contains.
It is really great that you grace so many threads with your presence and realise that you only do it to add more knowledge to the thread and not just to shift the focus onto you and something you did many years ago that may have a slim connection. It is also good of you to help expand what may be known about a variety of things without just making long sentences and confusing anybody as to what is actually being said within those sentences as there are no contradictions and they are ever so easy to read.
The chip board is so lucky to have somebody with your wealth of knowledge that is unselfishly willing to take the time to educate people about all the great things you have done for the hobby and the world in general.
We all enjoy when you tell us about the French, Spanish, UK gaming stuff and other such items especially as being American it is unusual that you know so much about other countries and their gaming items and are happy to talk about them and it is always very interesting.
It is so refreshing to listen to somebody who is not self-obsessed, egotistical or overly self-opinionated and also not one that just looks for (and takes) any opportunity to start an argument for their own pleasure like so many other people in this world just to top up their feeling of self-importance. I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say that we really do appreciate that you are how you are.
All in all, it is a real pleasure to read your posts on here and here’s hoping we get the chance for many more years to come. I don’t know how the hobby would survive without people like you, congratulations.
