I always ship with tracking. Sent ebay item out, buyer says he did not receive and got refund. Now its finally delivered after close to a month. Asked ebay about how to get my refund back since they got the goods, and their suggestion/resolution was to contact buyer. They have nothing to do with it. Luckily buyer was honest and sent funds.
Without tracking, I would not have been able to prove delivery.
