Yes, it's more complicated than simply finding a "casino" listed . Video keno machines were legalized in 1976 and video poker in 1985. Any dive with a machine can be called a "casino", but I really don't keep track of them because there are hundres around Montana and the machines are "coin-less" (paper) so there are no tokens to collect.
Regarding chips, there are only about 2 dozen clubs state-wide (keep in mind there are only 800,000 people in the 4th largest state in the union) that regularly spread card games where chips can be obtained. These are the ones I try to keep tabs on because of the chips.
