Here is the information I sent:
OK, dave it depends on how adventurous you want to be. I found the place in the Windows Registry that stores the content advisor information. I would suspect that if you remove it, it should turn off the content advisor. But depending on the operating system you may not have access to the registry.
The easiest solution would be to download and install either netscape 6.x or opera 6.x as your browser. The worse case is to reformat the system, the middle ground is to try this:
go to the windows registry (Start button, Run, and in the dialog box type regedit).
BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY FIRST.
On the left column look for the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (then walk down the tree to)
* Software
** Microsoft
*** Windows
**** Policies

Although removing might work I suggest we start with changing it. Change the "key" (on the right) by double-clicking it and changing the values to:
C9 DF 6B 67 79 64 2C 91 12 CF 49 7C 00 89 B5 7C
This will effectively change the password to "qwerty" (sans quotes). Then go in to IE and turn it off through the "tools|internet options|content|enable" menus/tabs. Enter in the password qwerty and if it works you will see it is disabled.
