Reggie’s Weekly Note & Chip Tip Hi Folks, To be honest I have had good news and not so good news this week. Earlier this past week, John (I will with hold his last name) purchased one of my nicer chips. Then later in the week I passed out at the dinner (lunch time) table and they took me to the hospital…later as I was waking up and becoming coherent again, they said I was not breathing and my vitals were 40/20…basically my heart had stopped, too. We are in the process of trying to get to the bottom of the all this. I have all kinds of lab tests and Dr’s appointments to attend to in the next few weeks. I am ok as of now. I am a half a step slower, but still have the energy needed to do my posts. BTW it happened right after the Tue morning posting, and I spent about 6-8 hours in the hospital ER unit, with out them doing anything for me; Nancy had brought me some clean clothes and I signed myself out, and walked on my own out the place where send well people to get sick. Years ago while I was doing “My Page-A-Day” I would publish one of these “Chipper Tips”. I am going to try to include one each Saturday, up date it if I feel it needs it. Hopefully, this will still help a few of us remember to do the right thing when the subject matter is in question and folks if I am wrong PLMK, sincerely…Reggie
Please remember, when you are trading with fellow chippers, or buying from a chip collector or dealer; to let the person you received chips from know that you received them. That should happen the day you open your shipment and verify its contents. It is impossible to predict or guess when delivery will be made.
Also, put a little blurb in your short message to the sender concerning the condition of the package/chips. That helps shipper know that his shipping methods are adequate.
Sometimes, we all forget. Sometimes we just do not know it is customary to do so. Sometimes we are just learning about this crazy hobby.
