Hiya Chuck, since you seem to be a dollar bill aficionado, have you ever heard of Where's George? You mark bills with the website address, register the serial number(s), then release them into the wild. I included the website below. I used to release 10-20 a month back in the day. It was fun if you got one of yours back and tracked where it had been.

I also used to release Geocaching Travel Bugs. I released a few in and around Vegas a few years ago that were attached to Las Vegas Club encased cents. You know those good luck key chains that advertised a 49 cent breakfast.
