Ron, I asked a Pit Boss about Grand Opening chips when I visited Table Mountain, a couple of weeks after the Grand Opening of the new casino room. I was told that there were NO Grand Opening chips made for the event. There have been instances where a Grand Opening chip is delayed or unknown to casino personnel but in this case, I believe the man. (An instance of a "surprise" G. O. chip is Harrah's Northern California in Ione - a $5 G.O. exists but I saw none at the tables when I visited the casino soon after its opening.)
