Oh well what can I say !! I fell off a step stoll while working in the garage yesterday. Went to emergency room last night and on to orthopedic doctor today. Diagnosis at least two broken bones in my right foot and other damage also to ligaments, etc. I have to stay off my foot for around 6 weeks. They will put cast on next week after the swelling goes down. I was going to be in A.C. for 3 days next week - that's cancelled. A.C. Chapter meeting and party Jan. 20th, probably won't be there.
And the big one --I had a two week trip to Las Vegas scheduled from Jan 23rd to Feb 5th to attend both Superbowl Chip Shows. Plane ticket, hotels, car rental now all on hold. I told my wife I have the mind set that I won't be able to go Vegas but if I am healed and able to go it will be a very pleasant surprise. I am always an optimist and I always try see the bright side o f things.- So here is the Silver Lining to this Dark Cloud. - I'll be stuck at home for 6 weeks and I'll be able to finish my oft postponed New Catalog of A.C. Roulette chips. I'll keep you posted on my progress. "KEEP ON CHIPPIN !!"
