~~~ what it was here in the US after the forming of the CCGTCC...‽
It appears that during the early stages of our organizing we picked up collectors at a rate much greater than what we have been doing during a time where we can tell the World what we do than what was possible back then....
I have been reading something about "chip shows" the last few days and how everyone back then enjoyed them though, those shoes were regional and did attract a lot of collectors from the region where they were held.... and afar, too, as I assume since some folks from back East say they attended some of those shows that Jim Munding organized..
Could there maybe be a possibility that perhaps some shows in gaming jurisdictions back East or what was tried with four major shoes in Miss. In the late-1990's ( and a huge success in Biloxi ) be what is needed...?
I know that Florida's attempt to organize was a dud othere than the CCGTCC's attempt to hold us together during the F.U.N. Conventions during that time...
Now for the part many of us do not care to pull our head out of our arse and that has to be that we need to understand that if it is not the young blood who will continue with what many of us helped form 30+ years ago, there ain't nobody else going to do it and, all we did will simply turn to dust as we are certainly doing....
You can't say we didn't have the chance when it was right there under our nose ( it doesn't take much to visualize that one )....!
I see no other choice than to reach out and grab on to those who have been crossing our path of late in showing us exactly what it takes to do it right; providing we ...............
