I think the concept of a HOF is a noble one and I know many of the members and they are uniformly terrific people who have made major contributions to our hobby. Sadly I also think the concept of a HOF, by its very nature, creates criticism and controversy which can get pretty personal. It's just the kind of topic that can generate the angry flaming posts that hurt our hobby. That's all I have to say.
