Craig, The chips in the frame are indeed commemoratives, That's why there is an opening and closing date on them. They are part of ten, seven chip sets made commemorate various old Las Vegas casinos. They are not fakes, nor were they made to fool anyone. Anyone who thinks a casino would put a closing date on a live chip is not to bright. Complete sets are almost impossible to find.Jim Kruse
