Re: Yes, they did indeed.

To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised as I knew there were boxes of chips but I had no idea what would be in them.
I expected some of the LGK ones and probably some colour ones but the SGK were a nice addition I didn't really expect at all as they were unknown at the time. Mind you, so were most of the others too.
Before we went up to Scotland (530 miles each way, give or take) I had been sent fuzzy photos of the plaques in boxes along with some other ones that showed some damaged LGK ones plus some in boxes and some of the later jetons (wrapped in sticky tape) and a big tub full of the last colour chips so I knew that there were some nice items but there were many that I didn't expect.
The only one that I'd hoped would be there actually wasn't (HHR 50p) as that was the only one known from that "set" (or 3 different ones due to the molds used, as you pointed out) so I have no idea what happened to those over the years.
I'd only seen a £10 jeton once but knew about the 5/-, 10/- and £1 so when there was a £1 and a £10 in the photos I'd hoped there would be others but, again, I didn't expect to get (what I assume to be) the whole set. It was the "Bond" plaques that were the important part of the deal really although overall condition was unknown.
The later (1978) plaques could also be seen and as it was the £1000 that first drew my attention to them I was happy to take the risk that there would be others that I'd never seen before. Obviously, I'm glad that I did as they were going to be thrown in a skip/dumpster (allegedly) if I hadn't bought them which would have been a crying shame. Les A weren't interested and I was the only person that had showed even a glimmer of interest in them. The person that was getting rid of them for the family didn't have the time or inclination to do anything with them hence the all or nothing deal that was struck. It was quite an expensive gamble that "paid off" as some have made their way to new homes so they were saved although not many casino collectors have bought any (which is a shame) but luckily the Bond collectors have bought a lot of the plaques. Only 3 collectors in the US have bought any of the lovely sets of chips although the "1" collectors have obviously added the £1s to their collections and as far as I know, all have been pleased with them.
There are lots of plaques still to be shown with (hopefully) interesting information which I'll keep putting up so that all of the stuff is on the board just in case there are some that would like to know about them and also so that they are archived for future perusal.
Obviously, most of them are for sale but I still don't expect any interest from people on the board as they are not something that most would be interested in (due to being from the UK and not the US) which is fair enough. As to be expected, some are in small amounts and others aren't and they are mostly worn due to use on the tables over many years but there are even some that are pristine.
Thanks for your comments and hope life treats you well.
