Pam and I would do Las Vegas on weekends! If I only knew then, what I know now. About the only real left over that we still have is a menu from the Silverbird. We use to keep the room keys and use the plastic paddle as a car key ring, until the hole wore out, and then we'd toss the paddle into the trash.
I had matchbooks, but made two mistakes. I mounted them in albums with GLUE! And then I started smoking.
We do have a couple of photos, to include Pam outside Circus Circus, 1970. We were there when "Diamonds Are Forever" was being filmed inside Circus and downtown. I will never forget carpeted sidewalks and cross-walks that included kitty-corners!
