Pretty interesting haul yesterday as the Sneaker Brigade had left the arena and more "yard-sale" vendors could set up shop. The scanner at first refused a "group photo" of the chips so I have to show them one-at--a-time. On the second bunch, Mr. Scanner would only yield a group photo. Go figure!
Little spoons made their appearance at various vendors' booths. I spotted the Luxor on the ground and was able to bend over to pick it up. Success! Also a Whiskey Pete's, and a Lawrence Welk which is NCR unless Mr. Welk owned a casino someplace. The black-and-white chips are from "O Service Station" which the vendor assured me was "a cat house somewhere in Nevada." Meow-not! Seems instead to have been from an adult parlor game offered on Amazon. Maybe I should check into that game? The chips show a strange bubbling/cracking pattern on one side, as if they had been placed on a hot stove or iron, Whatever gets you to it, right?
A few tokens, one being the original Edgewater Casino Dollar and a 50ยข token showing Harry Horseshoe of Hammond, IN.
Also got some cactus pears which the fruit vendor unceremoniously dumped into a common bag with cherries and strawberries. Time for a prickly-finger breakfast.
