If I have a chip, and as far as I know, I have the only one, does that make it rare? Does it make it valuable?
What makes a chip more rare or more valuable than another one? I know *historical* value adds to it, like the famous Vegas casino chips that are highly sought but is that all that makes a chip so valuable?
What about the one that I have that's the only one? I'm sure you all think that "that can't be the only one..." But what if (after time passes) that it really is the only one? How valuable it it?
I know in the end that the value of an item is whatever is agreed to between a seller and a buyer.
Just wondering.
Thanks for letting me rant.
I love chipping.
