I have played the slots for with the 10.00 strikes. The machine works like this: for 3 single bars you get 1 $1.00 silver strike, for 3 double bars you get 2 silver strikes for a triple bar you get 3 silver strikes. Of course instead of it saying "bar" it says "coin".

In Reno, I played the Silver Strike machine at fitzgeralds...I put in a 10 dollar bill and pressed the "play 3 credits" button. One the first spin...i got 3 songle bars on the top row and 3 triple bars on the third row. So...for 75 cents i won 4 $10.00 strikes. I was ready to leave the machine right after that...but my friend said I was a bid chicken....give it one more roll just to see. After collecting my wits, catching my breath from laughing and finially I stopped rejoicing and gave it one more spin...and of course he was right....I scored another thress double bars and down came 2 more $10.00 strikes!. At this point I realized my luck was amazing and decided that was enough...stroked the machine seductively and kissed her cute little handle good night.
Final take at the Fitgeralds: up six $10 silver Strikes after 3 minutes and 2 spins. Thats not even counting the matches and slot cards I walked away with too.
