Were you there on opening day? You sure these were 1st issue as opposed to the 6 white/6 blue inserts?
I already showed you lower denoms where the spot color was on the surface only.
The inlay is made in two parts. There is a thin transparent lens on the top. I've seen many chips where that lens has come away. I don't disagree the lens has been re-attached with the wrong orientation.
Strange that no other AC collector seems to back you up. How about your long term AC buddy you were going to contact - after all he was the one that introduced both these and the Showboat chips into the hobby. Did you go after him when he sold them 14 years ago? (Jan 2008 to be precise).
If you want to go on and on with this then take it up with the seller privately. I have absolutely no interest in AC chips or this discussion.
You really think someone made a fake mold so they could make these chips. That whole process would have cost $75000-$100000.
