Based on that information I won’t bet that they’re not colored on (seems some are by fact) but past that there seems to be a lack of proof on both sides. I will say anyone thinking they can be manufactured from scratch to go out and try. I know a few hundred people willing to pay thousands (each) to someone can produce a chip that can pass off as a 1980s Paulson chip, including myself.
