My wife is from Thailand. I guess there are several on the border between Laos and Thailand. A family friend told her that people who frequent these casinos and consistently win, wind up dead. I don't know how true it is but my wife claims that Thailand looks good on the outside but bribery is the order of the day. She says that if you have money, you can literally get away with murder.
