I have been enjoying trip summaries and thought I would share mine today.
Yesterday. No Uber or Lyft near my house. Spouse not home. I finally found a taxi to take me to the airport. Less than a block from my house I realized I didn’t have my phone. Crisis averted. Got phone. TSA pre check breeze and the flight was great. I was able to check into my room here at the SP early.
Dinner last night was early since I am on eastern time. One thing I love about the SP is that they still have old time items on their menu at the coffee shop. My first meal when I was a kid coming to LV was the hot turkey sandwich. It was great yesterday, and I even had a side of broccoli so I could pretend something was healthy on the table (I won’t mention the butter I put on it). Sat by the pool around 6 pm. Then back in for ice cream with condiments…otherwise known as hot fudge etc.

Today I had a nice work out in the fitness center…I wasn’t the only one there at 5:30. My usual chai latte from Starbucks was delicious. My explore day is today. Later I will be off to see the Bellagio Conservatory which I always love. Then to The Mob Museum. A local friend will pick me up there and off to dinner.
