…Through exactly what it sounds like your mom did. 🙁 She fell & broke her hip at age 92. Then it was 14 months of hell before she passed away at 93. In the hospital most of those months & a couple in a nursing home. Before the fell she was like your mom, physically & mentally fine. She was even still driving. It was horrible watching her decline. She did not remember her house here in Las Vegas at all. Even though she lived there for 19 years. But she always remembered the house in Eagle Rock. Luckily she remembered me until the end. The photo is of my mom & I in 1998. She passed away in 2009.

To Mike…Hang in there. Just try to be as much of a comfort as you can be to your mom. It’s not easy, but do the best you can.
