a few years ago. She was 86 & the picture of good health (mentally & physically). She fell, had to have some surgeries and those surgeries triggered something to bring on her mental diminishment. The people in the hospital called it "Sundowner's Syndrome" or something like that. She never recovered from it...really sad to watch someone go through that.
