One thing that may be effective against these viruses that look at web pages for addresses is adding a bogie to your email address. Since I listed mine as @NOSPAMaol.com, I've only received one virus generated email, that from an eBay seller who probably has a virus-convienent file named "Address Book". Since I wasn't expecting an attachment from this person, I contacted the sender BEFORE I opened it and avoided getting infected.
Only downside is that I forget to remind folks to drop the "no spam" when I solicit trades which has led to some confusion.
