Sadly we were a month early and won't be there next month. The travel costs for June were about 5 times higher than May. So we spent a week in Utah with the grandkids and came back to Vegas on Monday to spend 1 day at SP before flying home. It's been about 3 years since we were there and our offers/mailings have been cut off, I wanted to get some play in and get back on the mailing list for next year. A few things I did notice is there wasn't any buffet coupons in the book you get at check in, and dinner buffet was about $23.00 weekdays. Seems everything is going up in price. If you haven't been there in some time and use a players card ask at the club if you have any points/comps on your card. I found out even after 3 years I still had $82.00 in points, this more than covered our meals. Seen a lot of $10.00 minimum blackjack, but I believe they did have some $5.00 going on as well. Gas card/ Walmart card promotion is for the month of May, we managed to get 1 card each. Hot dog stand was in operation WoooooooHooooo. For you poker players there seemed to be a lot of action in the room, tournaments/ live games etc. It was quite full. Even though we were there less than 18 hours it was nice to get back to the old stomping grounds. Hope you all have a great time at the convention and hopefully see you next year.
