Bob; What makes you believe that if a "token" has no cash value, and is not redeemable, makes it a token? What you are describing would technically be called a medal or medallion.... similar to a commemorative medal to mark an occassion or event ... like a slot tournament.

A "token" is always redeemable or exchanged for something. Subway tokens, Parkway and Turnpike toll tokens, bridge tokens, parking tokens, food stamp tokens, slot tokens, arcade tokens, etc.

A token is generally defined as something that can be exchanged for goods or services.... in the case of silver strikes... for cash. In the case of a promotional token that MAY be exchanged for cash, does not necessarily make it a silver strike.

Here's my criteria. Make it drop into the hopper and it's a silver strike. Let me ask you a legitimate question. "If they sold them in the gift shop ... would that make it a silver strike?" My opinion is a resounding NO!
