A few questions for "those in the know"
Besides the obvious convenience of show related activities, what are the benefits of staying onsite vs. elsewhere.
Assumptions:
1)I plan to arrive on Thursday and depart on Monday.
2)I DO NOT want to stay in more than one Hotel.
3)I have always stayed at the San Remo and the room has been comped on the last three trips...(but I think I would like to try a different place).
4) I do plan to rent a car.(but I do not think I need one for the entire stay)
5) This would be my first chip show!
Any and all advice appreciated.
