The SIlver Dollar goes back to around 1880 when it was a single story building. It was used as
a bank and later a soft drink parlor in the twenties. When prohibition was lifted, Robert "Doby
Doc" Caudill (of Last Frontier Village and Horseshoe fame) opened it as a bar in 1933. The tile
trough running along the base of the bar was used as a spittoon and not a urinal as some think.
