Had a good time at the Ohio chip show. Enjoyed meeting up with fellow collectors. I collect antique chips. Inlaid monograms and a few crest and seals. I real didn't expect to find too much in my main area of collecting. Well, Friday during the trade session I notice Charlie Turner had a couple C&S chips with a Q and a C inside. There was a note on the chip flip that it might be from the Queen City Club in Cincinnati, which I told him is absolutely not true. We did a little goggling and found that it was from Quinn's cafe in Lodi Ca. Fast forward to Saturday.... Several of us were just sitting around shooting the bull and I asked Charlie if he still had the Qc chips for sale and how much. He said yes, He priced them at $2. We were looking through the box of letter chips and Charlie said, Wait! I just now sold them. I missed the one chip I could use by literately seconds. Well there was a lesson learned. "Don't sit and talk or the chip you want may walk"
