~~~ sample was notched, if it was shipped to France, it had to have at least one drillhole.
Though I never followed the study, I do know that any Paulson notched American casino sample chips that I had coming directly from a casino in France were drilled as well.
I also had the first casino chips ever made by CHIPCO (ESJ Puerto Rico) that were sent to France that were notched with one drillhole as well, though I have no idea if that was the same reason/requirement for sure.
I think those who study B.C.Wills samples would know for sure when the drilling was first required with samples from them to French casinos and it may have started in 1947 when casinos in France were reopening after the war.
Not really all that important and just an observation of what I know of that came directly from France.
