Re: What Does "incused" mean?
In Response To: What Does "incused" mean? ()

Hi Brian
"Incuse"
in·cuse (n-kyz, -kys) adj.
Formed by hammering, stamping, or pressing: an incuse design on a coin

incuse \In*cuse"\, a. [See Incuse, v. t.] (Numismatics) Cut or stamped in, or hollowed out by engraving.

What it means is the "dice" (or whatever) along the rim are "indented" as opposed to simply having flush colored pictures

This is a pretty raw definition... so "Ms. Articulate" vbg is winging it rofl
If you look closely at these chips, you can see the dice are "indented"
