The hobby a better place.

The club needs people like yourself involved for more reasons that even expressed here.

With that being said, the President position is a big job and not to be taken lightly.
Ask any previous president about the amount of involvement and time it takes, not to mention the struggles of dealing with so many people in volunteer positions.

It’s difficult for anyone to come into a position like that and while I applaud your even considering it, I am just not convinced it would be a great fit at least right now.

I remember when I first joined the board as Treasurer, after my first term I was asked to run for President but I felt I wasn’t ready yet. It eventually did happen but not until after I became more familiar with the club and it’s membership.

Now with that being said, I must repeat, the club NEEDS you and people like yourself.
I would 100% love to see you more involved with the club in a position of chair or even a board member.
Just not sure President is right for a first time volunteer position.

Just my thoughts and I am sure many will disagree.
Not trying to say anything negative, but if your really serious about running, please be sure you are ready for the obligations that it entails.
