Rich, the bar in the Algiers was one of my favorite spots. I don't think it changed much over
the years. It had that old time Vegas feel. I really liked the old Thunderbird as well. I went
there a lot when I first came to town in the 60s. It was a small casino compared to some of
the others but they had a cash Baccarat game there. I remember playing craps with the
old copper Michigan Tool tokens that made your hands black. Some famous mob guys were
involved in the T-Bird. The photo shows Rex Bell, ?, Clara Bow, and Marion Hicks.
