McDermitt is one of my favorite small towns. The Say "When" was a lot smaller when I first
went there in the 70s. The White Horse Inn and Ore-Vada bar were also open. I'm not sure
if the Desert Inn is still open and I don't know about the connection to the McDermitt Motel.
I remember that there was only a single 21 table when they had live gaming. Traveling Nevada
highways in the summer often results in long construction delays.
