Many of the submissions in ChipGuide are anonymous and without provenance...so impossible to determine ownership of rights and if they do indeed have them.
More importantly it is ChipGuide's belief that after they crop and adjust your photo it has become a new copyrighted entity for them to with as they wish.
I simply disagree with this. I have had these thoughts for many years, but the attacks of personal character and ethics on this matter between the two parties brings this issue to the forefront and in my opinion should finally be addressed. I have no issue with literally ANY member I have met along my chipping way...and can attest that i regularly chat with many of the oldest club members on a weekly basis.
I want nothing but the best for the club....but I want to protect my rights as an owner of intellectual property as well.
