Hiya Tiffany,I've missed the optical illusion John noted , nice chip. The Chip Rack lists a $5 Rectangle-Heart chip as lt. green with 3 red inserts as '50's issue, $175-$199 in vgd cond. I believe they've made a mistake on the color of this chip. Campiglia/Wells Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide notes your chip as a mustard rectangle-heart with three red inserts but no lt. green rcthrt chip. It's a second issue chip and the lettering on your chip matches the lettering of the 1st issue $5 from the Hawthorne Club as pictured in C/W and I'm confident that both books are describing the same chip. C/W values come in at 75/150/300 with top value for a very, very good chip. According to Harvey Fuller and The Chip Rack, Hawthorne Club had gaming 1950-1973.
