Hi Paul, I'm a local painting contractor here in Central City/Black Hawk. Several years ago, we did a restoration/paint job on the old City Hall in Nevadaville. Was quite fun to land a job in a legit ghost town. The pic shows my old helper Stu (RIP) applying primer to the trim which we repainted, we then put a clearcoat of water-based exterior polyurethane over the old siding and signage to preserve the nicely aged patina of the siding. Another pic of City Hall in 1962 in much worse shape!
