Those guys (YouTube vloggers Brad, Andrew, and Doug) saying they're heading to The Lodge for big games are now investors in The Lodge as of a couple of months ago. Big games like that 100/200 are streamed pretty regularly from The Lodge and TCH, and people walk in and out of those clubs with tens of thousands in cash and chips stuffed into backpacks. The law currently allows the clubs to stay open; many clubs have opened and been closed over the last decade or so, trying to figure out a way around the gambling laws, which simply state that the person(s) operating the game can't profit from the game, which is being interpreted as they can't rake the game. The clubs position is that they're profiting from the players, not the game. As I said in my preceding note, they're riding a very thin line. The TCH ruling in the next couple of weeks should tell the tale.
