of use is 1983, while the date of manufactured is 1981.
The "C" on the ace of spades means it was printed in a year ending in '00 (1900 only), '22, '41, '61, '81, 01' and '21. 1981 is the default because the yellow sticker, noting a usage date, is a clue to manufacturing date.
So, this deck is 2 years older than you thought!
BTW - Are the faces (court cards) standard or are they fancy faces (Roman characters)?
