You must have missed my posts about Windows XP. I installed it the day it came out (October 25th) & have had no problems. I think it's fantastic. I also had Windows ME which I upgraded from. Just make sure you download the latest drivers for your hardware & software programs once you get it installed. Also,do a Windows update at that point too.......Andy - Las Vegas
