If anyone notices, the lion logo on the older chips, Red Lion Motor Inn, next appears on the Red Lion Casino, new one across the street.

So I'm going to guess that this is the sequence.

1972 - Red Lion Casino -2562 Idaho

1972 - Became - Red Lion (Inn &) Casino 2050 Idaho ?

1982 - Red Lion Motor Inn - 2065 Idaho
Became - Red Lion (Hotel &) Casino
Became - Maverick 2065 Idaho

1993 - Gold Country - 2050 Idaho

So my question is, what was Gold Country from 1982 until 1993? Or where there two Red Lion Casinos, across the street from each other for 10 years?

But this similar timeline would explain the names and the ages of the chips. Red Lion Casino oldest, Red Lion Motor Inn next and then anything modern?

HELP?

I think the matchbook and phone book collectors can get this corrected? And I hate to add this, but Gold Country is across the street, and was remodeled and expanded around 2002
