Look, I don’t live in NV, so I don’t have a dog in this particular fight, but this quote made me laugh:

Really? After 2 years, is anyone actually distracted by masks anymore?

I work in the medical field and wear one all day… are they sometimes a pain in the butt (especially with glasses)? Sure.

Can I run up 3 flights of stairs without getting winded? Nope.

…. But not a distraction. But COVID on the other hand… now THAT’S a distraction!

Maybe this should be something to consider and a more appropriate quote would’ve been:

"We believe it's important that our teachers and administrators focus on the important work of educating children without the distraction that comes with COVID.”
